July 2010: Registration Open for the 1st Seville International Guitar Competition

The first Seville International Guitar Competition 'Spanish Composers' will take place from the 18th - 22nd October 2010.

'We must always rejoice to find a new Competition of Music Interpretation that supports the vocation of young performers. In the present case, however, we do feel overjoyed as it also endeavours to transmit the music for guitar by Spanish composers. We are delighted to applaud the initiative of the excellent guitarist Francisco Bernier and his vision of the importance of the guitar, both in Spain and throughout the whole world, with this inspiring project, bound to be a great promotion for performers, as well as an admirable vehicle for disseminating the works of Spanish composers.'
